If you're looking to enjoy Tuesday's slightly more friendly temperatures, Bayfront Park has a fun way to melt away some of that cabin fever.
The park's skating rink and family center programs open to the public Tuesday.
It will be free for anyone to use seven days a week, as along as the weather cooperates.
You can also rent ice skates, sleds, snowshoes, and snow sculpting tools.
On Friday nights, Bayfront's skating rink will host an outdoor fire with free hot chocolate and marshmallows.
The rink and equipment will be open and available for checkout between the following hours:
4-8 p.m. Monday through Friday
1-8 p.m. Saturday
1-5 p.m. Sunday
There are extended hours planned during mid-winter break (February 19-23) from 1-8 p.m. The rink is subject to closure if there is inclement weather (wind chill of - 20°) or if warm temperatures create puddles.
