Sunday night is one of the most celebrated weekends of the year and several events are going on across the Twin Ports to help ring in the new year.
In Duluth, The Lake Superior Zoo will host it's Noon Years Eve event Sunday 11 a.m.to 4 p.m.
The event will showcase animal enrichments and attendees can enjoy a glass of sparkling cider and watch the ball drop at 12:00 noon.
Pier B is allowing people to dance their way into the new year during their "New Year at Pier B party."
The 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. event will feature music from GB Leighton and Whiskey Trail, appetizers, and a champagne toast at midnight.
In Superior, Barkers Island Inn is hosting it's annual New Year's Eve Masquerade Gala.
The event takes place 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
There will be a wine toss, mask contest, balloon drop, and champagne toast at midnight. Formal, masquerade attire is strongly encouraged, but not required.
