Tis' the season to give gifts, so why not blood?
That's what one family is doing over the holidays.
Three generations went to donate their blood at the same time Thursday at the Memorial Blood center in Duluth.
This is the first time the family has donated together, but they say they hope to make it a new family tradition.
"I said, 'Maybe we could all give.' I knew my granddaughter was down here to give blood at different times and maybe we could all be together and do it all together the next time, which is today," said Grandma Stevenson.
Grandma Stevenson is 84 and has been donating blood for many years.
Thursday marked her 111th blood donation.
