The No. 10 Wayzata boys' hockey team scored three goals in the first period en route to a 5-1 win over No. 13 Cloquet-Esko-Carlton at Mars Lakeview Arena on Wednesday, snapping the Lumberjacks' four-game unbeaten streak.
Jedd Anich scored the Lumberjacks' lone goal halfway through the second period, with the assist going to Andy Acers.
Overall, both teams had 28 shots on goal.
Cloquet-Esko-Carlton is now (7-4-1) overall and will face Roseville tomorrow at 1 p.m. as part of the 17th Hilltopper Holiday Classic tournament.
