13 jobs will be created in Grand Rapids after ASV Holdings announced it will move its parts distribution operations center from Southaven, Mississippi to Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
ASV Holdings is a manufacturer of compact track and skid steer loaders for the construction market, and is headquartered in Grand Rapids.
The new jobs are expected to pay around $20.25 an hour, including benefits.
The company will invest nearly $686,000 to open the new center, which will be located in a leased warehouse in Grand Rapids.
Currently, ASV subcontracts with a third party and the move will lower operating costs, and will also improve customer service.
The project will be supported with a $125,000 loan from the Minnesota Investment Fund and a $300,000 loan from the IRRRB.
If hiring and investment commitments are met, $50,000 of the Minnesota Investment Fund will be forgiven.
