The awards continue to roll the way of Port Wing, Wis. native and Iowa forward Megan Gustafson. She was named the the Big Ten Player of the Week for the fourth time this season on Tuesday.
The junior recorded her NCAA-leading 12th double-double of the season against Drake on December 21 with a 27-point, 12-rebound performance.
Gustafson, who is averaging 22.2 points and 12.3 rebounds per game, has now racked up 13 weekly awards in her career and recently was named to the Naismith Trophy watch list.
The Naismith Trophy is given each year to the nation's top women's basketball player, and 50 players were named to the initial watch list. That list will be trimmed to 30 in February.
