Three former 'Dogs make Canadian Olympic women's team
DULUTH, MN -
Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women's hockey standouts Haley Irwin, Jocelyne Larocque and Bridgette Lacquette are heading to Pyeongchang, South Korea in February as all three were named to the Canadian Olympic women's hockey team on Friday.
This will be the third Olympics appearance for Irwin, who played forward for the Bulldogs from 2007-2012.
Larocque, a defenseman for UMD from 2007-2011, will play in her second Olympic games, while Lacquette, a Bulldogs defenseman from 2011-15, will make her Olympics debut.
