In an effort to get the Republican Tax Bill to President Trump's desk before Christmas, the house will vote on it Tuesday.
Lawmakers in the House are expected to vote on the final GOP tax bill sometime Tuesday afternoon.
The bill cuts the corporate tax rate to 21 percent and does away with some popular deductions for taxpayers who itemize.
It also eliminates the Affordable Care Act's mandatory health insurance coverage for all Americans by 2019.
Republican Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn of Texas said the Senate intends to hold a vote on the GOP tax bill later Tuesday or Wednesday morning.
