Two years and still no new answers into the disappearance of a vulnerable adult in St. Louis County.
36-year-old Joseph Zak was last seen on December 7th, 2015 at the group home where he lived in Brookston, located near Cloquet.
According to a Department of Human Services investigation, Zak, who is 6 feet, 325 pounds, escaped the group home during the morning hours of December 7th.
Zak has high functioning autism and worked at the bakery in a Duluth Super One Foods.
Zak's family released a statement Thursday:
We all think of Joe every day. Today is only a measurement of time passed since we were last in contact. We miss Joe every day and continue to hope for answers or clues to help bring him back to us. We miss you Joe and we love you!
