Drivers headed south on Interstate 35 in Duluth will want to plan for lane closures the rest of this week.
The left lane, between Garfield Avenue and 27th Avenue West will be closed while crews work on bridge maintenance in the area. They'll be out working from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
MnDOT says any loads travelling in that area during this time should not be wider than 12 feet.
Meanwhile, another closure will impact drivers using the 2nd Avenue West exit ramp off southbound Mesaba Avenue.
Crews will be doing tests there Thursday to plan for a future water line project.
That work will close the ramp between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
