The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team moved down one spot to No. 17 in this week's United States College Hockey Online (USCHO) Division I poll, which was released on Monday.
UMD was swept this past weekend by No. 1 Denver, which received 39 of a possible 50 first-place votes this week to remain the top-ranked team.
The Bulldogs are now (7-8-2) overall this season and just (2-6-0) in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), which puts them seventh out of eight teams.
UMD will close the season's first half this weekend, with games Friday and Saturday at Nebraska-Omaha. Those games are both scheduled to start at 7:07 p.m., and both can be seen on My 9 Sports.
