Northlanders to learn how to give life-saving overdose treatment

As the opioid crisis continues to take its toll on the Northland, several organizations are now hoping to arm the community with the tools to hopefully save a life.

Anyone is invited Thursday to learn how to administer naloxone, which is a medication first responders use to help someone who has overdosed on opioids. 

You can participate in this free training and receive a free naloxone kit at a couple locations:

11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Atrium (Cafeteria on site)

3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Miller Dwan Auditorium

7 - 9 p.m.
