Minnesota Wilderness goaltender Ryan Fanti has been named the North American Hockey League (NAHL) Central Division player of the week, it was announced on Monday afternoon.
Fanti was (3-0-0) with a 1.33 goals against average for Minnesota, including a 32-save shutout on Friday over Janesville.
“Ryan gave us a chance to win each night, and that’s all you can ask for out of your goaltender," head coach Tim Madsen said. "He is a talented goaltender with a lot of confidence right now."
On the season, Fanti is (5-2-0) with a 2.57 goals against average.
