Governor Mark Dayton has authorized more than $2.1 million in disaster relief for Saint Louis County.
This comes exactly one month after heavy snow, and gale force winds, destroyed public property along Lake Superior from Duluth's Lakewalk, to the Mcquade Harbor.
The aid will come from the State Disaster Assistance Contingency Account, which will reimburse counties for 75% of public infrastructure repairs, and clean up costs.
Local governments will be responsible for covering the remaining 25%.
The Saint Louis County Board estimates $3.4 million in damage.
