Some Northlanders may have enjoyed their Thanksgiving feast a little more after spending the morning burning off some calories.
More than 2,300 runners came out for Duluth's 12th annual Gobble Gallop 5-K run and walk, taking people on an out-and-back course along Superior Street.
The Duluth Running Company hosts the event, which has become a tradition for many families across the Twin Ports.
For a lot of the runners, it was more about fun than competition.
"I'm kind of anticipating dead last but, you know, we'll hope for a little better," said runner Matthew Denney.
In addition to the 5-K race, runners could also participate in a one mile competition or a quarter-mile kids' race.
