U.S. Senator Al Franken's staff will be in Duluth Thursday, hearing from local lawmakers about potential impacts they see the Republican tax overhaul proposal having in our region.
The meeting is part of a larger tour of the state Franken (D-Minnesota) and his office are holding, to find out how the tax bill will affect Minnesota families and the state's economy.
They plan to hear from Mayor Emily Larson plus local housing and economic development officials.
