At least two people entered a section of pipeline early Wednesday morning to be used to finish Enbridge Line 3.
Protestors gathered near the intersection of Hammond Avenue and N. 58th Street before sunrise.
Superior police were on scene, but say they were unable to get the protestors out of the pipe right away.
It's unknown as to why police were unable to remove the protestors.
Other protestors were also in the area, but they were not allowed near the protestors in the pipe.
There were multiple chants heard from the protestors.
An Enbridge spokesperson cut our interview short due to the atmosphere.
We will hear from the spokesperson and a protestor Wednesday night on the KBJR 6 News at 5.
