What better way to celebrate Friday the 13th than by fitting in some serious scares?
The Haunted Shack opens Friday night for its 24th season.
Along with a terrifying haunted house, the shack also features a hayride through a frightening forest and a "not-so-dead" cemetery.
The Haunted Shack team has taken this event from a stringed sheet outside a home in Gary New Duluth to what is now the largest seasonal haunted house event in the entire state, according to organziers.
You can take part, if you dare, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Buffalo House.
Bring a can food donation for $2 off the entry fee or if you bring a coat for the coat drive, you'll get a buy one, get one deal.
