The Iron Range is getting ready to welcome Halloween in a big way by hosting one of the scariest haunted attractions north of Duluth.
For several days now, crews have been busy turning the Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm into the Field of Screams.
Ghosts and ghouls of all shapes and sizes have been set up throughout the museum grounds with help from several volunteers and businesses.
Field of Screams organizers say it's a frightfully fun attraction that isn't possible without help from the community.
"We have over 15 different areas, the haunted tour is both indoors and outdoors. We have about 150 volunteers that come and show up every night and put on a show for everyone that wants to go through, and at the end of our event we donate money proceeds that we can to charity," said Shannon Kishel-Roche with the Chisholm Area Chamber.
Doors open this Friday starting with a "toned down" version at 7 p.m.
