Northlanders with a sweet tooth participated in CHUM's yearly pumpkin pie sale
DULUTH, MN -
Pumpkin pie fans lined up at CHUM in Duluth Wednesday for their annual pie sale.
The sale helps Northlanders in need, all while filling your stomach at the same time.
Plenty of volunteers were busy helping out at the Coppertop Church throughout the day.
Organizers say all profits will be used by CHUM's food shelf.
"It's fun to work with students. It's fun to be productive in the kitchen. It's fun to be able to help people in the community that need help, and it's just a win win all the way around," Professor Emeritus, College of St. Scholastica, LeAnn House, said.
CHUM offers Northlanders in need everything from emergency food, and shelter, to advocacy, support and outreach.
