Duluth Marshall's Kleinschmidt commits to Division II powerhouse Regis
DULUTH, MN -
Duluth Marshall senior outside hitter Kate Kleinschmidt has verbally committed to play Division II volleyball at Regis University, she announced Tuesday night via Twitter.
"Excited to announce my commitment to play volleyball at Regis University," the tweet read. "Thanks to everyone who's supported me along the way."
Kleinschmidt is part of a Hilltoppers team that has won 12 straight matches and hasn't dropped a set since Sept. 14. That program had its best regular season ever in 2016, posting a (22-6) overall record.
Regis right now is (14-1) overall and ranked No. 10 in the American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) Division II poll.
