The body of an adult man was located in a wooded area off of Becks Road in Maple Township Tuesday afternoon, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
An autopsy will be performed in Anoka County on Wednesday to determine the cause of death.
While the Douglas County Sheriff's Office has not released the identity, the daughter of 52-year-old Fred Luostari, from Cloverland Township, says the search is over for her father. Luostari has been missing since Thursday, September 28.
According to a Facebook post by Jennie Luostari:
The search is over. No more volunteers needed. Thank you all for your help and prayers. He is in heaven now.
Another Facebook post by daughter, Cass Luostari, says:
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who helped look for my dad. He's in heaven now. Fly high daddy.
Volunteer teams searched the grounds of the Cloverland and Maple area on Sunday and Monday.
