DULUTH, MN -

Some lucky high school students in the Northland headed out for a trip of a lifetime this morning.

72 high school students from around the Northland are traveling to Washington, D.C. while the College of St. Scholastica's Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math-Science Program are facilitating the trip.
The educational trip will include laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery and meeting Minnesota Senator Al Franken.

"Their being exposed to places and colleges and events that they might not have the regular opportunity to if they were just a regular high school student back in their hometown."

The students will be returning July, 21st.
