A Duluth native is making political news after barely losing the GOP Primary race for Virginia Governor.
Republican Corey Stewart, originally from Duluth, says he may run for U.S. Senate next year, after his surprisingly strong showing in Virginia's primary for Governor.
Stewart is a former state campaign chairman for President Donald Trump.
Wednesday he said his near victory over former RNC chairman Ed Gillespie shows there's strong interest in his brand of politics.
Stewart says he plans to take a break for a few weeks before making a decision about his political future.
