Motorists on I-35 in Duluth may have been delayed Wednesday morning when an oversized load was unable to make it through the Can of Worms intersection.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the northbound ramp of I-35 at Highway 53 was closed from 7-9 a.m.
Officials say the truck driver stopped before the vehicle contacted the cement guardrails in order to avoid damaging the truck.
Authorities escorted the truck as it backed on to Northbound I-35 and up Mesaba Avenue to Seventh Street.
The truck eventually made it safely to 14th Avenue West and Michigan Street.
