Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker spent Wednesday afternoon at the site of a deadly tornado in Barron County.
The Governor visited with a number of families who lost their homes in the tornado.
Officials say 38 of 55 mobile homes in the park were destroyed.
One person lost their life and many others were injured.
Governor Walker reached out to those affected by storm damage to help in the state's efforts to get federal help.
"Almost all of us have cell phones or smart phones, take pictures of (the damage). Collect as much info as possible. Pass it on to the county. It will be passed onto us. For us to get the possibility of federal declaration. It's a specific threshold. It's not a political decision," Walker said.
The Governor today declared state of emergencies in Barron, Jackson and Rusk counties.
