Rain washes out roads around Northwest Wisconsin

DULUTH, MN -

Some roads remain closed or under water on Wednesday following Tuesday evening's storms in Northwest Wisconsin.

According to the Ashland County Highway Department, County Highway "N" remains closed near Pine Curve due to water over the bridge.

That Highway may re-open Wednesday afternoon.

Water is cresting in the Glidden area, and officials hope it will not go over Highway 13.

In Bayfield County, a culvert was washed out on Andrew Anderson Road in the Town of Mason.

That road will re-open as soon as the water goes down.

All Roads are open in Iron and Douglas Counties.

Town of Jacobs:

  • Forest Road 9
  • Mercer Road
  • Mackenberg Road
  • Old 13 Road

Town of Marengo (closed due to previous damage)

  • Ashland Bayfield Road
  • Spring Brook Road
  • Vista Road
  • Wildcat Road

Town of Peeksville

  • Archie Hill Road
  • East Side Fire Lane
  • Masterson Fire Lane
  • Silver Creek Road
  • Sinkhole Road (Open up to Ollie Road)
