Todd began his career at KBJR in 1983 fresh out of college where he majored in Management and minored in Marketing.
As an entry level account executive he learned the business from the “ground up”. Three years into his career, Todd was promoted to Assistant Local Sales Manager and then to Local Sales Manager and ultimately to General Sales Manager. Despite all of that Todd still clings to what he enjoys most; working with local clients and their advertising needs. As a manager, Todd is extremely proud of his very strong sales staff.
From the broadcasting perspective, Todd is very proud of his company’s initiative in local programming such as the My9 Sports lineup and the Christmas City of the North Parade. In the community, Todd has served on various non-profit boards and a 26 year stint as a volunteer youth/high school hockey coach.
Todd still laces up his skates in the weekly “old-timers” league. For enjoyment, Todd loves to fish on his favorite lake in Canada, play “bad” golf, mow his lawn twice a week and spending time with his family. He is married to his wife Barbara and they have a daughter Karley who is attending the University of North Dakota. Go Sioux! Go Bulldogs!
