Alec joined KBJR 6 in January of 2016. He worked five months as a General News Reporter before moving into the sports department as the Weekend Sports Anchor in May.
A Cincinnati, Ohio native, Alec attended school at Chapman University in Orange, California. While in school, he worked late nights as a voice-over artist for various Los Angeles radio stations and even was featured in several indie films and cartoons.
Alec most recently worked as an editor and program coordinator at Fox Sports 1 in Los Angeles. He also spent four years as one of the play-by-play voices for Big West Conference baseball and basketball. His favorite memory was being able to call the first no-hitter in Long Beach State Baseball history.
A true baseball fanatic, Alec spent two seasons in Miami, where he worked as a camera operator and editor for the Miami Marlins with Fox Sports Florida. Alec also had a run in with the minor leagues, calling games on the radio for the Florence Freedom in the Frontier League for one season before moving out west.
Alec's true passion is sports and the emotional roller coaster that each game can bring. He loves being in the Northland as people up here truly care about their athletes and a variety of sports.
