MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Garrison Keillor says several sexually suggestive emails he exchanged with a woman who accused him of sexual harassment were nothing more than "romantic writing" and that the two never had a sexual relationship. In an interview with The Associated Press, Keillor rejected the idea that his status as the woman's boss _ and the heart of a hugely popular radio program _ could constitute sexual harassment. The woman told AP Keillor had power over her job assignments and she feared saying no to him.

WINONA, Minn. (AP) - The National Weather Service says spring flooding in southeast Wisconsin is expected to be in the normal to slightly below-normal range because of below-normal snow depths in surrounding areas. The Winona Daily News reports that Winona has a 28 percent chance of having minor flooding of 13 feet, an 18 percent change of having moderate flooding of 15 feet and a 12 percent change of having major flooding of 18 feet.

WINONA, Minn. (AP) - Developers hope a $25 million project in downtown Winona will help provide housing and early childhood education. The Winona Daily News reports that the Main Square Community project will involve multiple building on a currently unoccupied block. A Montessori school for toddlers and preschoolers will occupy one portion of the land. The lot will also include apartment buildings, commercial space and underground parking.

AFTON, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota hometown of Olympic gold medalist Jessie Diggins is planning a royal welcome for whenever she comes home. Diggins grew up in Afton and is a graduate of Stillwater Area High School. She won the United States' first-ever cross-country skiing Olympic gold medal on Wednesday. Council member Bill Palmquist says the city will declare a "Jessie Diggins Day" once a date can be arranged.
